Breathe. Just for a moment.
Inhale the world around you.
Breathing is the element to living lightly, savory, and happily.
Breathing is the lost art of solitude. Where we get to contemplate & reflect. Face our demons. Unwind. Find peace. Start over. And appreciate the smaller things of life that get lost in life’s roar.
For a while now, I didn’t take a step back to breathe because my circumstances weren’t good enough.
* I didn’t get enough done, I didn’t prepare enough, I don’t have enough time, ect..
Yesterday, I was on a boat on my way to go snorkeling with dolphins in Ko ‘Olina beach in Hawaii.
I was gazing into the clear, turquoise beach and asked myself one question that transformed my relationship with breathing.
“What if breathing was enough?”
What if breathing was all it took to get it all done, have it all, and make a difference.
What if whenever we’re in doubt, we just breathed.
\\
Taking a step back to breathe isn’t what you do once you’re cool, calm, and collected.
It’s the thing you do that makes you cool, calm, and collected.
\\
We don’t have to wait for our circumstances to be good enough take a step back and breathe.
Being human is good enough. Go ahead and BREATHE.
