How to Not Gain Any Weight During the Holidays without EXERCISING OR DIETING

Have you ever wished you could binge and splurge on delicious family meals without feeling guilty?

Are you tired of feeling fat after the holidays?

You’re not alone, a lot of people think about this, they all wish they could eat as much as they want. I did some research and this last Thanksgiving, I ate more than 18,000 calories over a period of three days. That’s Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and  didn’t gain ANY WEIGHT at all.

I found out 2 solutions of losing weight that I manipulated and combined to prevent weight gain during massive calorie intake, like the holidays. Here’s the system I used to not gain weight during the holidays without exercising or dieting.

Did you know Michael Phelps eats 12,000 calories a day?

How in the world does he eat so much but look so amazing?

It doesn’t make sense, someone who runs a 26 mile marathon would only burn around 2,600 calories or approximately 3/4 of a pound of fat.

How could Phelps eat an extra 9,000 calories a day? After years of research Ray Cronise, a high ranking scientist at NASA, figured it out. It was the thermal load of the water Phelps would spend 3-4 hours  swimming in. Water is 24x more thermally conducted than air. Under cold water conditions, you could burn up to 4x more the amount of calories you burn under normal conditions. (Running a 26 mile marathon could possibly burn 2600 calories, but working out in a 82′F pool for 4 hours would burn up to an extra 4000 calories.)

Manipulating cold temperature was the 1st solution I learned, but that wasn’t enough to prevent weight gain especially the amount of calories I planned to consume. The 2nd solution I learned was what put it all together to create the perfect formula to preventing weight gain..

Enter ALPHA-LIPOIC ACID (ALA)

ALPHA-LIPOIC ACID (ALA) is an antioxidant that has been proven to regenerate vitamin C and vitamin E. The most amazing feature of ALA is its lack of toxicity in humans. It’s No Observable Adverse Effect Level is 60 milligrams per kilogram of bodyweight. That would make consuming 4000 milligrams per day safe for a 150 pound person.

ALPHA-LIPOIC ACID has multiply benefits to our bodies such as helping treat type 2 diabetes, liver disease, and metabolic syndrome, but that’s not our focus, ALPHA-LIPOIC ACID also recruits GLUT-4 glucose transporters to the muscular cell membrane. GLUT-4 glucose transporters absorb calories we consume into our muscles as opposed to our fat.

In short ALPHA-LIPOIC ACID is so kick ass because it stores all the carbohydrates you eat, that would usually turn into fat, into fuel and energy for your muscles.

The Formula

Over the past Thanksgiving week I decided to experiment with the cold and with ALPHA-LIPOIC ACID. Here’s was my routine to preventing weight gain starting the Monday before Thanksgiving:

One.

Right when I woke up I drank 2 cups of ice water.

Two.

I took a 10 minute cold shower.

I would start with hot water, then I would turn the water off and lather up the the shampoo and body soap. Then I would turn the water to pure cold and rinse my head and body. I’d spend at least 2 minutes of the cold water on my lower neck and upper back because I had read short term cold exposure to that area leads to fatty acid release that releases GLUT-4 glucose transporters.

Three.

Before lunch and dinner I would take two capsules of ALPHA-LIPOIC ACID (ALA)

The ALPHA-LIPOIC ACID would recruit GLUT-4 glucose transporters to my muscles before I would gorged myself in delicious mashed potatoes and stuffing, this would illicit most of the calories to being absorbed by my muscles instead of being turned into fat.

Four.

A few hours after dinner, I would place an ice pack on the back of my neck for 30 minutes.

Timothy Ferris, author of The 4-Hour Body, suggested this option instead of taking ice baths for 20 minutes. Placing an ice pack on the back of your neck isn’t quite as effective as taking an ice bath but it is far less painful than the ice bath.

And that’s it! I used this formula for one whole week and didn’t gain any weight from the Thanksgiving holidays without exercise or dieting. As long as you plan accordingly and start this formula a few days before you start eating, you shouldn’t have to worry about getting fat.
