How to Recover After Getting F*cked Up

Re-live your previous Saturday night for a moment. You and your closest friends decided to check out a party over on the other side of town. You guys heavily indulged in drinking, drugging, tobacco, marijuana, ecstasy, promethezine, and maybe even a little cocaine.
You partied with the best of them, and loved it.
Now re-live your previous Sunday morning for a moment. You’re probably thinking, “What the hell happened last night? Why does it feel like I have a rock in my head? How did I get home? Did I use a condom? Did he use a condom? Why am I knocked out in the bathtub? Will I ever get up?”
I love the night life, but hate waking up to the hang over. Luckily, a few months ago a friend of mine whose a pediatrician told me the trick to recuperating myself after nights of intoxication.
I invite you to try what I call the ZONE of cleansing.
At break of dawn, first thing in the morning:
- Drink two tall glasses of water on an empty stomach. This’ll begin your inner cleansing.
- Meditate and take 10 deep breaths in a setting of complete silence. Focus on your senses, get present to how your body feels, and then except everything your body is and isn’t.
- As you sit, find the area of your head that hurts. Focus on it. Now thinking about the area of your head that hurts, transform it into an egg. Begin to slowly turn this egg around and around. You’ll notice your headache or migraine slowly disappear.
- Finally just sit, realize that what ever your feeling is apart of you but isn’t in control of you. Breath and begin your day with ease and grace.
Do this at least 3-4 times a week to maintain a strong liver and strengthen your focus & recovery.
